South West’s 50th Anniversary Championships

If you are interested in taking part in the South West’s 50th Anniversary Championships on Sunday 2nd February please read the PDF below, fill out the Competition Entry Form and return it to us. Payment can be made via bank transfer to the same account as fees.

Spectator tickets will be limited and can ONLY be purchased in advance via the South West website here. Parents of competing children should purchase their spectator ticket BEFORE entering their child(ren) to compete. The spectator ticket link will close once all the tickets have been sold.

Black Belts who wish to officiate can apply here.

The deadline date is Saturday 18th January.

Black Belt Training Session

Black Belts can now book a place on the Black Belt Patterns Course on Saturday 1st February by going here. This must be done in advance; you will not be able to turn up and pay on the day.

Lastly, if you don’t have an up-to-date licence slip in your Black Book please see us next lesson for your slip.

April 2025 Black Belt Grading Applications

For those of you wanting to take part in the upcoming Black Belt Grading the following dates apply:

Sat 15th Feb: Deadline for Application Form & Grading Fee etc.

You can find our Black Belt Application Form in the Student Zone.

Sat 1st Mar: Theory Test (1st Kup Only)
10:00 – 12:00 @ Emersons Green Village Hall

Please ensure you attend both sessions at Emersons Green from 10am to 12noon (both the Adult Class and the Black Belt Class). Half of you will be training in the first class and completing the test in the 2nd class, the other half will complete the test in the first class and train in the 2nd.

Sat 8th Mar: Dan Pre-Pre-Grading & Star Pre-Grading (N/A to 1st Kup)
11:00 – 12:00 @ Emersons Green Village Hall

Wed 12th Mar: 1st Kup Pre-Pre-Grading (1st Kup Only)
19:00 – 20:00 @ Emersons Green Village Hall

Sun 30th Mar: Black Belt Pre-Grading & Star Grading
@ The Activity Zone, Malmesbury
09:30 – 11:30 – 1st Kup Pre-Grading
11:30 – 12:30 – Junior Black Belt Star Grading
12:30 – 14:00 – Black Belt Dan Pre-Grading
